Feature Song | Dirty Projectors | Up In Hudson

–by Quincy Tejani, Music Connoisseur

Wooh! After hearing this track I cannot wait to get my hands on the newly announced self-titled Dirty Projectors LP (out on February 24th). David Longstreth has always been an expert at pushing indie music forward and finding new and exciting ways to produce and record his output. On the new DP single, they blend James Blake-esque R&B with dance breakdowns (?) to create an exciting new sound that I hope is explored further on the album. Even without Amber Coffman (former girlfriend and singer extraordinaire) Longstreth seems to be right on track with this one.
