–by Quincy Tejani, Music Connoisseur

For everyone who is feeling even a little bit naughty today, have a listen to 5 of the sexiest songs that have come from our friends over in France.

5. Francoise Hardy | Chanson d’O | 1971

One of the sexiest retro women of all time, Francoise Hardy released “Chanson d’O” on her album La Question. Her entire ’60’s cannon is filled with sexual sounding pop songs like this one.

4. Air | Sexy Boy | 1998

Released on Air’s 1998 album Moon Safari , “Sexy Boy” is a little tongue in cheek, mocking the stereotypical ideas of  what’s “sexy.” However, the girl’s vocals on the chorus are just sexy, period.

3. Serge Gainsbourg | Melody | 1971

The first of two Gainsbourg compositions included on this list, “Melody” is the first track on the French singer’s masterpiece Histoire de Melody Nelson. The entire LP is a concept album that depicts Gainsbourg, a middle-aged man, seducing a teenaged Melody.

2. Brigitte Bardot | Moi Je Joue | 1964

Brigitte Bardot is one of the most well known sex symbols of the 1960’s. Her track “Moi Je Joue” proves she could bring her sex appeal to the studio as well as to the screen.

1. Jane Birkin & Serge Gainsbourg | Je T’aime Moi Non Plus | 1969

This song  is famous for being banned in most countries. Serge Gainsbourg is the king of writing sexy pop songs, Jane Birkin is one of the sexiest French women of all time and at the end of the song there is a female orgasm. Need I say more?
