Song of the Day | VETO | A Pit

– By The Violet Wave Stafff –

Soothing and sounding like it belongs to the soundtrack of Dead Wood, “A Pit” by Danish band, VETO is a deep dive into an emotional landscape that matches its sonic stance.

According to the single’s press release, “A Pit” revolves around a psychological problem around understanding “symbols,” which can result to “alienation.” Or in other words, a soundtrack to being weird, and this is why we love it. There’s too much information running through different kinds of streams, such as social media and communication from physical relationships, and there is only so much we can decipher, interpret, and absorb.

While the song’s meaning is focusing on a manner of interpretation, we like its straightforward, blues-y vibe. It’s something we can listen to a lot. Just saying.
