Pop Rock is like the sun. It’s bright and you can’t stop staring even if it blinds you. In this case, we can’t stop listening to “Don’t Walk Away From Me,” an upbeat pop rock track from Toronto’s The Elwins.
The song, taken rom their full length LP, “Beauty Community,” has a dorky quality. And we say this fondly, that’s why we dig it so much. It has the qualities of a pop punk song minus the punk and more of indie sensibilities fit for a radio-friendly approach. It’s almost like it can be used in a commercial, or in a rom com that stars high school students. It’s a feel good track, and it could be your next guilty pleasure.
