Sean Friloux, at his New Orleans studio

A background in graphic design and drafting gives Sean Friloux a strong understanding of space and dimension within his work; he then uses oils and watercolor to explore light “for maximum impact.” This allows for an impression that is at once both familiar and unexpected. His charcoal drawings offer a ghostly effect, whether he is drawing people or landscapes.

Captivating and often with an otherworldy feel, Sean’s works uncover a mystery in everyday scenes, offering a secret perspective.
