Artist Spotlight: Giulio Brega

Giulio Brega was born in Fabriano, Italy, where he has continued to live and work. After graduating, he participated in a study program with the “Centro Studi Marche” of Senigallia. From 1987 to 1990 he successfully participated in numerous photographic competitions, exhibited at Sicof in Milan and in several other collections.

Giulio collaborates with cultural magazines and publishes some of his pictures in other magazines. After a long break in 2012, he began shooting again, and from 2013 to 2016 he exhibited in several collections. Giulio set up four personal exhibitions, two with the patronage Fiaf.

Over the past three years he has successfully participated in numerous national and international photo contests. His portfolio is the first in the “Seventh edition Witch Wizardry 2016.” Twice in 2016 he was awarded the title “Author of the Year Fiaf Marche 2016” In 2016 he was part of a team of 10 photographers who win the prestigious “Masterclass Hasselblad.”
